Procurei uma cópia cifrada desta canção pra provar que é uma canção simples. Dificilmente exista uma canção melhor que esta. Uma canção boa de verdade é assim, você a ouve pela primeira vez sem saber que não é a primeira vez que ela é tocada pra você. Conheci essa canção num especial de natal em que a courtney love toca no violão a primeira estrofe desta música. Nem ela conseguiu estraga-la. Alias, ninguém conseguiu, nem mesmo eu que peguei a letra (sem a cifra porque toco diferente) e em quinze minutos já sabia toca-la, mas na versão do Flying Burrito brothers. Mas a versão legal que todo mundo copia é de uma cara chamado James Carr. É o arranjo dele que aparece no filme Commitments (eu disse que todo mundo já havia ouvido e ela esta grudada no que chamam de inconsciente coletivo). O Afghan Whigs também fez uma bela versão e o Ry coorder deixou ela ainda mais sofrida.
